international travel. It includes reservation, pricing, ticket issuance, and cancellation
policies.
Types of Air Tickets

Allows travel to a destination without a return trip.
Suitable for immigrants, students, and business travelers.

Covers both departure and return flights.
Usually cheaper than two separate one-way tickets..
✈️ 3. Direct, Non-Stop & Connecting Flights
Non-Stop Flight: No layovers (e.g., New York → London).
Direct Flight: May stop but no change of planes.
Connecting Flight: Requires changing planes (e.g., New York → Paris → Rome).

Economy: Cheapest, basic seating, limited services
Business: Extra legroom, priority check-in, better meals.
First Class: Luxury seats, premium dining, lounge access.
Air Ticketing Process
✅ 1. Flight Search & Reservation
Use airline websites, travel agencies, or online portals (Expedia, Skyscanner, Google Flights).
Compare prices, layovers, baggage policies.
✅ 2. Ticket Booking
Provide full name (as per passport), travel date, destination.
Select class (Economy, Business, First) & seat preference.
✅ 3. Payment & Ticket Issuance
Payment via Credit/Debit card, PayPal, or UPI.
Get an e-ticket (PDF or mobile ticket) with a PNR number.
✅ 4. Check-In (Online or Airport)
Online Check-In: Opens 24-48 hours before departure.
Airport Check-In: Arrive 2-3 hours before the flight.
